LION OF ZION

We work with UPS to ship our coffee all over Israel. At checkout, you can choose to have coffee delivered directly to you or to pick it up at a store or locker near you.

While we don't have a store front, you can pick up orders from the roastery in Hoshaya. When you order, mark the shipping method as "Hoshaya Pickup," and we'll coordinate with you to arrange a time.

While we don’t have an official supervising authority, we are observant Jews and follow all Jewish dietary laws. Coffee in its natural form is inherently kosher, and we never add any non-kosher oils or flavorings. We also strictly refrain from roasting on Shabbat or Jewish holidays.

The coffee is kosher for Passover year-round, but each year we thoroughly clean all equipment before the holiday and work with the Rav of the yishuv to ensure everything is ready.

Note: We do not use the word “kosher” in labeling, as it is legally controlled by the Israeli Rabbinical authorities, but you can be assured that our practices fully respect Jewish dietary traditions.

We accept PayPal, and all credit cards processed by PayPal, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Diners.

I’m David Strausberg, father of four, living in Hoshaya, a beautiful town in Emek Yizrael. I created Kilimanjaro Coffee, Israel, and ran the café of the same name in Zichron Yaakov from 2013–2016. Since then, I’ve been roasting fresh coffee for a core of dedicated customers. Lion of Zion reflects my years of experience, passion for quality, and love for crafting the best cup while honoring Jewish traditions.
